The recently published Thailand Digital Transformation Report from Deloitte recommends tax incentives should be offered to entrepreneurs in order to promote a more competitive tech-led innovation environment in Thailand, and that Thailand has seen some initial movements, for example, the Digital Economy Promotion Agency or DEPA aims to make Thailand an Internet Of Things hub of Asia, as it tries to boost digitalization.
Design School Asia fully supports DEPA’s commitment to Thailand’s digital economy. Design practitioners and educators are part of this ecosystem, and should engage more at a strategic level. User experience success or failure from a design perspective begins with framing how the user will engage with the product, this is typically done with creating user personas based on demographic assumptions and, ideally, concept testing along with understanding business requirements, being responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes across web applications Android and iOS.
User experience design is South-East Asia’s fastest-growing creative industry. To find out more about Design School Asia is embedding employability it’s User Experience Design program visit https://designschool.asia/dsa-courses/ued/
