Licensing frequently asked questions
Got a question? We’re here to answer! If you don’t see your question here, please get in touch: hello@designschoolasia.com
How does the licensing work?
Typically the curriculum and content development is managed and produced by us and your teaching and learning practitioners deliver it. We can offer the license as ‘fair usage’ per user or a site license; whichever is best suited to your cohort size.
What is the typical duration of the license?
One year.
Who teaches the courses?
Typically we would expect your institution’s to deliver the curriculum. We have a Training of Teachers (ToT) model intended to engage coaching new teachers that are less experienced with a particular topic or skill. Alternatively we can supply our own teaching and learning practitioners as a turnkey service.
Who owns the IP of the curriculum?
We do. The license allows you usage of the materials and the MyDSA learning management system to deliver the learning for your students.
Can I add learning material?
Yes. We want you have as much autonomy as possible. Typically this would be for any live project ‘briefs’, summative assessments and ad-hoc content such as announcements.
